Website graphic design is challenging. There are many things to consider when you are designing a new website. The majority of time that goes into a design is actually not even spent creating the design. It’s planning and research. The more research you do before the actual design is started the better the result.

The reasons behind this approach are quite simple. You must know who your audience is and how they use the internet. Then you can look at the technical requirements, such as; if the website is aimed at over 50’s then don’t choose a font size that is too small. It’s not rocket science, its more common sense.

We work through the design process with our clients in a really simple process. We create a brief based on the business goals, then plan and research. Finally we develop some concept designs. This is normally two completely different mock-ups that incorporate all of the planing and research we have done. We will then discuss the designs and work out what we need to alter. From this point we will need to make a few minor revisions and that’s it. Once the designs have been created and signed off we can start putting your website together.
